Implementation of a Private LTE-Network

B‑MAX Media, in collaboration with Ambra and Ericsson, implemented the first private LTE network in Suriname at the Merian Gold Mine in 2024. This project replaced the existing outdoor WiFi infrastructure, delivering enhanced reliability and enabling greater productivity across mining operations.

ICT Dimensioning and Implementation

Newmont began construction of the largest gold mine in the Caribbean in 2013. B‑MAX Media was responsible for the dimensioning and provisioning of all ICT equipment for the new Merian Gold Mine.

B‑MAX media conducted a Solution Study of voice and data communication for the Saramacca field (2025), evaluating UHF, VHF, LoRaWAN, LTE, WiFi, and satellite systems to enhance efficiency, HSE compliance, and production optimization.

ICT Architecture new gold mine in Guyana

B‑MAX media designed the complete ICT architecture for a new gold mine in Guyana, covering construction site layouts, IT services integration and an organizational plan for IT operations.

B‑MAX Media provided data connectivity services during Schlumberger’s remote operations for its Horizontal Drilling program between 2027-2021.
