Staatsolie (2009–2013) Rig Connectivity Project

B‑MAX Media was responsible for providing connectivity services for all oil rigs operated by Staatsolie within the Sara Maria area, as well as remote rigs during the exploration phase in Suriname’s coastal region.

Newmont (2013–2016) ICT Design and Implementation of the Merian Gold Mine

Newmont, a leading global producer of gold and copper, began construction of the largest gold mine in the Caribbean in 2013. B‑MAX Media was responsible for the dimensioning and provisioning of all ICT equipment for the new Merian Gold Mine.

Staatsolie (2017–2019) Wireless Network for Oil‑Well Connectivity

B‑MAX Media designed and implemented a large‑scale wireless network for Staatsolie to enable connectivity of all major oil wells at the Sara Maria operations. This network, currently managed by B‑MAX Media, allows real‑time monitoring of key parameters from remote oil‑well pumps.

Schlumberger (2017–2021) Satellite Connectivity for Horizontal Drilling

B‑MAX Media provided satellite data connectivity during Schlumberger’s remote operations for its Horizontal Drilling program.

ETK Mining (2021–2024) ICT Architecture

B‑MAX Media designed the full ICT architecture for a new gold mine in Guyana, covering construction site layouts, utility and scheduling support, and IT services integration. Delivered a comprehensive staffing and departmental systems plan, including on‑site, cloud, and off‑shore deployments for hundreds of concurrent users. Defined the IT operating model, hardware/software standards, and infrastructure policies, while implementing systems for monitoring, data backups, and security.

Staatsolie (2025) Solution Study Voice and Data communication Saramacca field Operations Conducted a comprehensive study of advanced voice (digital radio) and data (remote sensing) communication technologies for the Saramacca field, assessing current systems, future requirements, costs, and risks to improve efficiency, HSE compliance, and production optimization.
